(Water Based Rust Preventive Solutions)

Features:

• Rust preventive oils are highly used in the machine shop to protect the machined components from corrosion.
• These oily components require to be cleaned with solvents before they are assembled again. It becomes an additional step in the process of reassembling the parts.
• To overcome this, Polychem has introduced Polyanticorr. This water based rust preventive solutions leaves a temporary rust preventive layer atop the component.

Applications:

• The machined component should be dipped in 5%-10% solution of Polyanticorr. It should be left in the solution for a while. The water will start evaporating after some time, leaving a thin, invisible film of anti rust coating behind.
• It is recommended to use rubber gloves while handling the components and during their transportation. The components should be covered with a VCI sheet so that the invisible protective film of the solution will remain undisturbed.
